Our Relaxation sessions for Mums-to-be at The Chamomile Clinic. Set in our private therapy rooms, in a calm garden setting. Providing a space and time to connect with yourself and your baby, and to relax with other mums-to-be in a nurturing environment. This class is suitable for Mums-to-be at any point during pregnancy.

Each week you will learn different relaxations, visualisations, breathing exercises and hypnobirthing techniques. We share our practical skills of using aromatherapy, self-massage, acupressure, nutrition and herbs during pregnancy and birth.

Some weeks we get a little crafty - creating our own organic herbal and aromatic products including aroma sticks to calm our nerves, blending herbal oils to prevent stretch marks, and massage lotions to soothe everything!

We teach a balance of different relaxation skills in a fun, empowering way so you become confident using the ones you like by yourself and with your partner throughout your pregnancy. All our sessions are supported with free downloads and information sheets so you can feel really confident to continue to enjoy these experiences at home.

We support all birth choices, these skills are also extremely useful when you need them during labour and birth, no matter how you birth your baby.

The Elements of our Mums and Bumps Relaxation Sessions are:

Relaxation – easy when you know how! We show you a variety of relaxation techniques, including breathing exercises to help you find a way to let go and relax.

Visualisation – using our minds creatively, we can focus on feeling positive, relaxed and connected. Visualisation is not just about seeing – it is about sensing, we teach you how to use visualisation techniques to create deep sense of wellbeing and relaxation.

Medical knowhow – we support all birth choices, and offer you a natural perspective on how you can support your own on pregnancy and birth choices. We offer you a chance to discuss how birth feels, what happens to your body and your baby, and how you plan to enjoy it as much as possible.

Hypnobirthing & Self-hypnosis – we teach you self hypnosis and hypnobirthing skills, empowering you to be able to use these techniques throughout pregnancy and birth. You will have free downloads for each session so you can repeat them at home any time, and we provide scripts so you can guide your own hypnotherapy sessions with a partner too.

Herbal medicine – as part of every session we enjoy organic herbal teas, safe for mum and baby, to help us relax and be healthy. On our crafty days we show you how to make and use simple herbal preparations to aid your healing like herbal oils to prevent stretch marks, or blend herbal teas to encourage breast milk production, always with samples to take home.

Nutrition – a healthy diet is essential during pregnancy and when breastfeeding to prevent you becoming depleted and tired. We discuss how to meet your dietary needs naturally throughout pregnancy and to support your body whilst breastfeeding, so you can be at your best naturally.

Acupressure & Reflexology – we teach you where the important acupressure points are, how to access their healing potential, and how you can encourage a healthy harmonious birth.

Aromatherapy – we guide you through which oils are safe for you and baby, and how to use them safely during pregnancy and birth. We also create our own natural products including personalised massage blends, aroma sticks, salt baths and diffusers for you to use at home.

Massage – reassuring gentle, therapeutic touch is a powerful way to create oxytocin – the magical orgasmic birth hormone! The more oxytocin we generate the more connected we feel to our bodies, our baby and our partner. We teach you how to use massage techniques for your physical and emotional wellbeing, to help you feel connected and loved, and to stimulate happy hormones to help you have the birth you want.

We aim to teach a balance of different relaxation skills in a fun, empowering way so you become confident using them by yourself, when you need them. We want you to feel like the Birthing Goddess you are, naturally!

Your Teacher

I am a qualified and professional Medical Herbalist, Hypnotherapist, Hypnobirthing teacher, Aromatherapist, Massage therapist, and Shamanic healer.  I am a Mother of 2 and have experience of both a hospital and a home birth. I support all birth choices. My passion is to inspire and support others on their journey to live a healthy happy life, naturally.  

After 20 years experience and more than 25 years of professional training, I have collected a large tool kit of skills to share with you. From Massage to Meditations, Herbal teas to Hypnobirthing, there is something for everyone!

My main aim for our Mums and Bumps Relaxation Sessions is to create a safe place to come and feel calm and reconnect. A healing environment to learn, to teach a balance of different relaxation skills in a fun, empowering way so you become confident using them by yourself, when you need them. I want you to feel like the Birthing Goddess you are, naturally!
